There are several motives as to why consumers would buy a product. For example, why do people buy iPhones? For emergency calls or as a social accessory? These motives can be analysed using Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs.

Physiological Needs
This is a video about hunger and how food is very important to survive. The number of malnourished people are growing every year because they cannot afford to buy food.
Safety and Security
This video is about a burglar who breaks into a house and causes a student to still have nightmares even after the burglar is arrested. Safety is very important because it prevents a person from getting hurt, physically and mentally.
Love and Belonging
This video is about how family and friends are always there for you, no matter what happens. Family is very important because it makes us feel special and lets us know that someone cares about us.
Self-Esteem
This is a video about how confidence makes us who we are. Self-esteem is very important because it makes us feel good about ourself and enables us to have a comfortable and healthy lifestyle.
Self-Actualization
This video is about self-actualization and how we do not need to be accepted by other people, we need to learn to love ourselves. We should not allow other people to influence us.
